    Farm animals

There’s no need to drive all the way to the country when you can see farm animals at Swan Valley Station.

We keep them here to help educate kids and families from small suburban blocks how to treat and understand farm animals.

Our residents usually include donkeys, miniature ponies, goats, turkeys, and chickens, with a miniature cow paddock coming soon.

Swan Valley Station also has friendly peacocks who roam the grounds. We also breed marron, yabbies, and silver perch.

You haven’t shopped in the Swan Valley until you have visited Swan Valley Station.

The outdoor gift shop at the front of the business is a garden-lovers’ dream, featuring an ever-changing selection of windmills, wind spinners, bird baths, water features, garden art, sculptures, outdoor furniture, rusty art, and more.

This is the place to find your next statement piece for your garden. There is also another collection of garden art and pots at the back of the property near the nursery.

Inside next to the cafe, explore the well-stocked shelves for ornaments, glassware, jewellery, candles, soaps, diffusers, books, wind chimes, and indoor pots.

We stock many locally and Australian made brands including Bramble Bay, The Soap Bar, Coast to Coast and Alfresco Gardenware.

There’s also a great range of WA-made gourmet fare including olive oil by Regan’s Ridge, Swan Valley Fudge, and condiments by A Bit on the Side.

Lose yourself in the Swan Valley Station gift shop!

From homewares and gourmet fare to ornaments and pots, you’re sure to find something to fall in love with for yourself, or someone else.

A special collection of mini spinners and glowing art candle holders is also a unique feature of the shop. Swan Valley Station is possibly the only stockist in WA and imports these stunning pieces from Germany.

Many of these pieces also depict perfectly Australiana flora and fauna.

Out stock changes regularly so make sure to take time to browse the regular and sale shelves for that special gift or seasonal bargain.

  • Activities

There is plenty to explore at Swan Valley Station

    Marron Lake & Sculpture Trail

Before or after a coffee, stretch your legs with a walk around our huge five million litre marron lake, with a big blue marron at its centre.

Although we don’t offer marron catching, once a year we do have marron on the lunch menu for the Harvest in the Swan Valley.

The man-made marron lake was developed as a unique point of interest for the Swan Valley, a new industry that diversifies from the region’s viticulture.

Marron are of interest to locals as well as interstate and international visitors who are encouraged to stay a little longer to learn about this unique crustacean, Western Australia’s biggest freshwater crayfish.

The marron share our lake with silver perch which are available to catch; see the fishing information page (link).

The Swan Valley Station sculpture trail is something to behold. It features more than $300,000 worth of life-size and over-sized horses, kangaroos, pelicans, a stunning boab, and other pieces depicting uniquely WA animals and or plants.

Some of the sculptures you might see include the Kangaroo Paw by Will Wilson, Frilled Neck lizard by Stephen Rowe of Austech Illusions and Giant Rusty Daisies by Martin Jaine.
